Rohan Mitra is a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher with over 5 years of academic and industrial experience bridging the gap between novel theoretical research and scalable, production-grade AI systems. His expertise lies at the intersection of Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Mathematical Optimization, where he architects solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Currently developing high-impact AI products at Bayut & dubizzle (OLX Group), including BayutGPT, a RAG-based LLM application that has successfully processed over 600k+ messages, and 'Sell With AI', a multimodal system for automated content generation used by 500k+ people in the UAE.
As a researcher with over 155+ citations, Rohan has published in several prestigious journals and international conferences. As a Core Team Member and Speaker at Google Developer Group (GDG) UAE, he is deeply committed to the democratization of AI knowledge, actively conducting technical workshops and talks specifically for tech and AI professionals, fostering innovation and growth within the developer community.
